True Gum has got their expense management under control with Pleo
Pleo helps the Danish company True Gum clean up their expense management as they clean up the chewing gum industry.
True Gum is a company that produces chewing gum without plastic. The company is working to make chewing gum a kinder alternative for you and the planet. Instead of plastic, as most chewing gum from other brands contains, True Gum uses sap from a tree found in South America.
The company was founded in 2017 by four friends, and today they have more than 35 employees.
The challenges
As Head of Operations at True Gum, Frederik Kirkeby Beth often contacts the company's accountants. Before they integrated Pleo, he would have to chase documents and receipts from every member of the True Gum team who had forgotten to send over their receipts in time.
True Gum's problems before they started using Pleo were, in particular:

"For us, the feature we rely on most is the notifications the team receives on their phone immediately after making a purchase. It makes it much easier to keep track of everything at the end of every month."
The result
After True Gum started using Pleo's expense solution, they got control of their expense management, which has given them less manual work.
"It's very easy to use Pleo. The minute you make a purchase, you take a picture of the receipts, and everything is just done, and you don't have to look for them by the end of the month when the bookkeepers ask for them." says Frederik Kirkeby Beth.
