Benny Johansen og Sønner is a family-run, medium-sized plumbing company. They have around 75 employees and do everything within the plumbing, ventilation, and sheet metal work.
Their focus is not to hire more people and grow that way but to become even better at what they are already doing now and thus grow in revenue. To succeed with this, they extensively use Ordrestyring, which is a great help in their everyday lives.
It is all set in a system and nothing is forgotten
Before Benny Johansen & Sønner started using Ordrestyring, they mainly worked manually in the company, where work agreements and tasks were agreed on paper or by word of mouth. Nothing was systematized.
"This could mean missing documents, missing written agreements, and much more that could go wrong," says CFO of Benny Johansen og Sønner, Jonas Johansen.
After they started using Ordrestyring, it has become much easier for them to plan as everything has been organized and put into a system. This means nothing is missed anymore, and everything goes much faster.
"Now I can immediately see if something is wrong. The documentation part alone is much easier. This means that we can, for example, handle a complaint or an insurance case much more efficiently, and we know what we have done ourselves and what the starting point has been," says Jonas Johansen.
More time for work that adds value to the company
Before they started using Ordrestyring at Benny Johansen og Sønner, all the employees had to come by the office in the morning to pick up worksheets and be told where they were going and what they would do that day. It has changed significantly after they got Ordrestyring.
"When we get an order in, we immediately put it in as a case in Ordrestyring. From there, we have a full overview of the case from start to finish. We can constantly see the status, time consumption, when to invoice, when to move, when a requisition is missing, etc. In the past, things could get lost because it was paper, messages could be lost, and so on. That is no longer the case," explains CFO Jonas Johansen.
In addition to the fact that quality assurance has become easier, the time spent on planning has become significantly less.
"Once the case is created, the people immediately know what to do. Then, they don't have to drive into the office to get information about the case. They can see this online and drive straight to the workplace. It saves a lot of time," says Jonas Johansen.
Ordrestyring is primarily a strategic tool that gives the management of Benny Johansen og Sønner A/S a firm basis on which to make decisions.
"On a strategic level, it has the effect that I can make sure that we earn more money without having to bring in more employees or more people, but we earn more money from what we are already doing now. It also means that we see much faster if something is wrong if something is forgotten or missing," says Jonas Johansen.
