Meneto saves self-employed hairdresser DKK 25,000 a year

In 2013, a lifelong dream of independence finally came true for Berrit Jensen when she opened her salon, StylePassion. Fixing hair and making people happy has been her great passion for as long as she can remember.

But as a self-employed person, there are also a lot of time-consuming tasks that you have to manage – including bookkeeping and accounting.

New accounting software

Before Berrit Jensen used Meneto's accounting software, she had an accountant associated with her company. But she quickly found out that the expenses for the bookkeeper were too large, and thus had to look for a new solution. Berrit, however, had yet to take care of the accounts herself.

"I would much rather do my client's hair than do my accounting," says the owner of StylePassion, Berrit Jensen.

Therefore, one of her good friends recommended Berrit to take a closer look at Meneto. She could quickly get an overview of her monthly price and which services were included on the accounting software's website. It was easy, manageable, and cheap.

"With a subscription to Meneto, I save approx. DKK 2,000 per month on my accounting which adds up to around DKK 25,000 per year. As a self-employed hairdresser, I need that money, also privately, so I can pay a salary to myself," says Berrit Jensen.

Meneto provides the necessary overview

After Berrit started using Meneto's accounting software, she gained a better overview of the hairdressing salon's accounting. Meneto's app lets her quickly see how the company grows, who she pays the most to, and who she buys the most from.

"I used to have to send in a cash report every week; now I can collect everything and do it once a month," Berrit Jensen mentions and adds:

"My favorite feature of Meneto's app is that I can easily and quickly scan my receipts as soon as I've been out shopping for my business, and I can see all my receipts in the app. I can also easily send an invoice directly from the app, which is convenient when I'm at a customer's place or makeup event."

The implementation of the accounting software has, among other things, contributed to her having more time to do what she likes, giving her more peace and security in everyday life.

"It has been important for me to find an accounting solution that I am comfortable with, I found that security with Meneto," says Berrit Jensen.
